What factors determine Hair Growth?
  • Genetics
  • Diet & Nutrition
  • Age
  • Medical Conditions
  • Styling Techniques
  • Overall Hair Care Maintenance
On Average, hair growth 6 to 6.5 inches per year and .5 to 1 inch per month with good maintenance. However, there are ways to yield the highest growth. You are what you eat! Eating a well balanced diet can really do wonders on your hair and skin. Super foods such as salmon, beans, spinach are source of vitamins and protein that allows for good hair growth.

Overall hair care can have a direct affect on hair growth! Incorrect style technique can be one of the reason you may experience lack of growth. Our hair is very fragile and must be handled with care.

What can I do to promote Hair Growth?
  1. Drinking 8-9 glasses of water daily
  2. Diet & Nutrition: keep to organic food and biotin, you need biotin
  3. Minimize Heat, or not at all. Heat fries the hair and breakage may occur
  4. Handle hair with extreme care, this mean only comb your hair when wet. You will decrease hair loss.
  5. Keep your hair clean: co wash your hair at least once a week and shampoo very two weeks
  6. Eliminate complex styling techniques: Braiding too tight or too long weighs that hair down
  7. Scalp Massages: this will allow for blood flow
  8. Protect your ends
